These are test images from a prototype of the macro adapter designed and made by Cyclopital3D for the Fuji W3 digital stereo camera. They were shot ten minutes after receiving the attachment in the mail and should not be construed as the best that can be done. Alignment and processing was done in multi conversion mode with StereoPhoto Maker. Most all shots were taken using a Vivitar 283 flash flash in f8 auto mode. Camera was set to ISO 100, f9, and forced flash.

These images are from a hike and hot springs soak I took with the Idaho Outdoors group to an area in southwest Idaho. They are my first images using a twin Canon A590IS rig controlled with StereoData Maker. I used the cameras mounted side by side so the minimum stereo base is 100mm and the maximum is 195mm. I also used StereoPhoto Maker in the multi-conversion mode to automatically align, correct, and create the anaglyphs. They are presented here just as they came out of the program. As you can see there are some window violations and other problems, but I wanted to show what SPM can do in auto mode.

This trip to Succor Creek State Park in Oregon was organized by the Gem State Grotto on April 22-25, 2010. In addition to the Grotto sponsored camping and meal plan individuals offered other activities such as rappelling, caving, hiking, rock hounding, and the very popular Tyrolean that spanned the 200+ foot wide and 165+ foot tall canyon over and back. Stereo images of this weekend will be available soon so check back for those albums.
This trip was to the Honeycombs on Lake Owyhee over Memorial Day weekend 2010. Because the water level was too low to use the Leslie Gulch boat ramp, both boats came in from Owyhee Dam. Once camp was set up we did day hikes into the interior of the Honeycombs. Many thanks to Owen Jones for organizing the trip and Owen and Dave May for providing the boat rides. The landscape images were taken with a Pentax K10D on a Jasper Engineering slide bar.
